HALL SURVEY, ABSTRACT NO. 687, FROM AG TIALR)U TURRE) DISTRICT TO A-3 (RESIDEN- WHEREAS, after receipt of request for change of toning, notice given to applicable property owners of public hearing, notice of publtc hearing published, and public hearing having been conducted, all in compliance with Ordinance No. 161 of the City of Southlake, Texas, NOW, THEREFORE, Be it ordained by the City Council of the City of Southlake, Texas: SECTION 11. The certain Ordinance No. 161 passed by the City Council of the City of Southlake, Texas, January 7, 1969, and being the "Comprehensive Zoning Ordinance" is hereby amended insofar as the fourteen acres of land, more or less, owned by the Townhouse Development Company, out of the W. W. Hall Survey, Abstract No. 687, Tarrant County, Texas, more particularly 1 described by metes and bounds as follows: BEGINNING at a 6" x 6" concrete monument in the present south right-of-way line of County Road No. 3034, said monument being the northeast corner of that certain 3 acre tract described in Volume 4585, page 361, Deed Re°:ords of Tarrant County, Texas; THENCE S Y° 19'E, 1300.3 feet, to an iron pin, the southeast corner of the tract described in Volume 5058, page 533, Deed Records of Tarrant County, Texas; THENCE S 896 52'W, along the south line of said tract, 674.6 feet, to an iron pin for corner; THENCE NORTH, 633.4 feet, to an iron pin, the southwest corner of a 5 acre tract described in Volume 4325, page 257, Deed Records of Tarrant County, Texas; THENCE S 880 021, along the south line of,said 5 acre tract, 315.3 feet, to an iron pin for corner; THENCE NORTH, along the east line of said 5 acre tract, 691.4 foot, to an iron pin in the present right-of-way line of County Road No. 3034; THENCE S 870 501E, along said south right-of-way line, 330.2 feet, to the Point of Beginning, and containing 14.87 acres of land is changed from its prior zoning classification of AG (Agriculture) District to a zoning classification of A-3 (Residential) Dist#ictr SECTION 2. The official Zoning Map created by said Ordinance No. 161 is hereby amended to reflect the change in zoning classification made by this Ordinance. I I SECTION 3. The said Ordinance No. 161, except as amended by this Ordinance No. 161-44 and prior ordinance amendments, remains in effect in all other respects as originally passed. D. 1972. ayor ATTEST: City Secretary r A 147 ORDINANCE NO. 191 AN ORDINANCE APPROVING AND ADOPTING A BUDGET FOR THE CITY OF SOUTHLAKE, TEXAS, FOR THE FISCAL YEAR BEGINNING OCTOBER 11 1972, AND ENDING SEPTEMBER 30, 1973, AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SOUTHLAKE, TARRANT COUNTY, TEXAS: THAT, the Mayor of said City has heretofore duly and 1 timely filed, in accordance with law, a budget for said City covering the fiscal year running from October 1, 1972, to September 30, 1973; that due and timely public notice that a public hearing on such budget would be held on August 29, 1972" was given and made in accordance with the law and within the time limits set forth by laws that such public hearing was held in accordance with law on August 29, 1972; and that it is the opinion and judgement of the City Council that said budget which is attached hereto be, and same is hereby, in all things approved and that same is proper and correct. WHEREFORE, said budget is here and now and hereby in all things approved and adopted, and it shall be effective as of October 1, 1972. This ordinance is hereby declared to be an emergency measure which shall have and take effect from and after its present reading, for the reasons that the fiscal year commences. October 1, 1972, and fixing the rate and levy of taxes for the year 1972 must be had prior to October 1, 1972 and after approval and adoption of this budget= it is for the immediate preservation of public property and business, and provides for the daily oper- ation of all municipal departments and lays a predicate for the appropriation of money to defray current and other expenses. All monies collected under this ordinance for the spcIF items therein named, be and the same are hereby appro- priated and set apart for the specific purpose indicated in each item and that the Assessor and Collector of Taxes, the City Treasurer and the City Secretary shall keep these accounts so as to readily and distinctly show the amount collected, the amounts expended and the amount on hand at anytime, belonging to such funds, it is hereby made the duty of the Tax Assessor and Col- lector of Taxes and every person collecting money for the City of Southlake, to deliver to the City Treasurer and the City Secretary at the time of depositing any monies a statement show- ing to what fund such deposit should be made and from what source received. All receipts for the City not specifically apportioned by this ordinance are hereby made payable to the General Fund of the City. Section 3.
