AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE
NO. 161 OF THE CITY OF SOUTHLAKE
BY AMENDING THE ZONING CLASSIFI-
CATION OF TWENTY-FIVE ACRES OF
LAND, MORE OR LESS, OUT OF THE
R. D. PRICE SURVEY, ABSTRACT NO.ii1207, FROM AG DISTRICT TO A- 1 IRESIDENTIAL) DISTRICT.

WHEREAS, after receipt of request for chang of zoning,
notice given to applicable property owners of public hearing,1
notice of public hearing published, and public hearping having
been conducted, all in compliance with Ordinance No. 161 of

the City of Southlake, Texas,
NOW, THEREFORE,
Be it ordained by the City Council of the City of

iSouthlake, Texas:
SECTION 1. The certain Ordinance No. 161 passed by the City
Council of the City of Southlake, Texas, January 7, 1969, and
insofar as the twenty-five acres of land, more or less, owned
by Manuel Gonzalez, out of the Reis D. Price Survey, Abstract
No. 1207, Tarrant County, Texas, more particularly described
by metes and bounds as follows:
BEGINNING at a set stone, the most northerly j
Southeast corner of a 50 acre tract accord-
ing to Deed descrption as recorded in Volume
325, Page 543, Deed Records, Tarrant County,
Texas, said stone standing 750.0 feet East of
the Northwest corner of the Joel W. Chivers
Survey, Abstract #350;k'
THENCE N. 890 - 42' W. along a fence, a dis-
tance of 742.9 feet to an iron pin for corner;

THENCE in a Southeasterly direction along said
curve a distance of 285.74 feet to an iron pin
for corner, said pin being the end of said curve;

line of said road, a distance of 116.0 feet to

THENCE N. 880 - 45' W. 929.83 feet to the POINT
OF BEGINNING and containing 24.941 acres oflland.
is changed from its prior zoning classification of AG District
to a zoning classification of A-1 Residential) District,
SECTION 2. The official zoning map created by said Ordinance
No..161 is hereby amended to reflect the change in!zoning
classification made by this Ordinance.
SECTION 3. The said Ordinance No. 161, except as amended by
this Ordinance No. 161-36 and prior ordinance amendments, re-
mains in effect in all other respects as originally passed.
This ordinance shall take effect upon its passage.

has a number of streets within its cor-
porate limits without a name; And
WHEREAS, the City of Southlake presently
has a number of streets within its cor-
porate limits with cumbersome names; And
WHEREAS, the Postmaster of the City of
Grapevine has requested that the City of
Southlake change to a numbering system
for mail delivery; Now
THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
SOUTHLAKE, TEXAS, that the following streets are hereby named:
Grapevine Loop is now Lonesome Dove
County Road #3099 is now Crooked Lane
Unnamed xoad in J. G. Allen Survey is now Timberline Drive.
Hood-Throop is now Highland Street
Carroll School Road is now Carroll Avenue j
Kimball Road is now Kimball Avenue
Carlile Lane is now Carlile Lane running north and south
Carlile Lane is now Rainbow Street running east and west I
Jellico Road is now Jellico Circle
State Highway 114 is now Northwest Pakkway
FM 1709 curved section to SH 114 is now Short Avenue'
Unnamed streets on the east side of Raintree Drive are
now Hillcastle Street and Brookwood Street
Old Keller Road from FM 1709 to SH 114 is now Bluebonnet Drive
FM 1938 is now Smithfield Avenue f

It was moved by Manuel Gonzalez, seconded by Gayle Hargadine,
unanimously passed, that the Citys`Council study the Airport
Zoning Ordinance with the purpose of passing same in the near
future.
