RESOLUTION NO. 72-3
i
WHEREAS, the City of Southlake, Texas,
levied ad valorem taxes on all property
within its corporate limits, both real
and personal, commencing in 1968; And,
WHEREAS, there are delinquent taxes on
the 1968 Tax Roll and the Tax Roll for
each subsequent year; And,
WHEREAS, such delinquency exceeds a per-
centage of the total of each Tax Roll
considered acceptable by the Municipal
Advisory Council of Texas, an association
of municipal bond dealers of Texas; Now,
THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE iCITYOFSOUTHLAKEthattheMayorbeauthorizedandis
hereby directed:
1) to employ Wayne Rohne of Arlington, Texas,
Attorney-at-Law, to take the necessary steps to collect
such delinquent taxes for the City of Southlake;
2) that said attorney be paid of all
such taxes collected out of the Genera Fund,)
3) that such employment commence
1972, and continue through 1 97 .
