1 WITH VARIANCE FROM CURBS AND GUTTERS.
WHEREAS, after receipt of request for change of zoning,
notice given to applicable property owners of public hearing,f
notices of public hearing published, and public hearing having
been, oonduoted, all in compliance with Ordinance No. 161:: of
the City of Southlake.. Texas,
NOW, THEREFORE,
Be it ordained by the Cite Council of the City of

Council of the "City of Southlake, Texas, January 7, 1969s and
being the "COMPREHENSIVE ZONING ORDINANCE" is hereby amended
insofar as the twenty acres of hand, more or lose, owned by
Love-Henry & Associates, Inca, out of the L. B. G. Hall Survey,
Abstract No. 686, Tarrant County, Texas more particularly 1
r described by metes and bounds as follows
BEGINNING at an iron pin in the Bast line of said

185.1 fast South of the Northeast corner of said

to a zoning classification of A-3 (Residential) District, with
a variance from orbs and gutters.

SECTION 2. The official Zoning leap created by said Ordinance
No. 161 is hereby amended to reflect the change in zoning
classification made by this Ordinance.
SECTION 3. The said Ordinance No. 161, except as amended by
this Ordinance No. 161_35 and prior ordinance amendments, re-
mains in effect in all other respects as originally passed.
This ordinance shall take effect upon its passage.

RESOLUTION 72-2
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL
OF THE CITY OF SOUTHLAKE, TEXAS, THAT:
1.
An election is hereby called to elect three councilmen
to Places 3, 4 and 5, to serve until April of 1974, and
until their successors are duly elected and qualified. Such
election shall be held at the City Hall of the City of
Southlake, Texas, on the 1st day of April, 1972, from 7:00
A.M. until 7:00 O'clock P.M.

Any qualified person may file as a candidate by filing
his application in the office of the City Secretary on or
Before March 1, 1972.
Absentee voting shall commence ^in the office of the
City Secretary at eight o'clock A.M. on March 12, 1972, and
shall close at five o'clock P.M. on March 28, 1972•

The following persons shall be the officers who shall
conduct the election:
Elsie McAlister, Judge
James Winfrey, Assistant Judge
and such other eligible persons as clerks that the election

judge shall appoint.
The election shall be conducted according to the election
laws of the State of Texas.
