The Mayor directed Council's attention to the "ENCHANTED OAKS
recommendation of the Planning & Zoning Com- SUBDIVISION
mission to approve a change in zoning to A-2
in "Enchanted Oaks" Subdivision'and approval
of the preliminary plat of said subdivision
with submission of drainage data and a gener-
al development plan along with the final plat
Discussion was had concerning green belts and PUBLIC HEARING
sewage disposal methods. A public hearing on ON ZA 76-3 SET
ZA 76-3 was set for October 5th, 7:30 P.M. FOR 10/5/76
by the Mayor.
Council was presented a petition for annexa-
tion of approximately 4 acres of land adjoin- ANNEXATION
ing "Enchanted Oaks" and to be part of same PETITION
zoned for A-2 at the time of annexation. The
Mayor set October 5th, 7:30 P.M. for the pub-
lic hearing.

store opening onto SH 114 near Kimball Avenue. TRAFFIC
Councilman Hawk recommended two courses of SAFETY
action: 1) the City Attorney to investigate the
merits of injunctive relief for a violation of
an approved plat; 2) the Police Chief to in-
crease vigilance in the area to reduce traffic
violations.

PLANNING & ZONING RECOMMENDATIONS
9/7/76
At the P & Z meeting held August 24, 1976, all members present recommended
approval of the preliminary plat of "Enchanted Oaks", submitted by Tommy
Eidson, with the provisions that:
1. Drainage data be submitted to Carter & Burgess.
2. Zoning on the areas showing as L and A-6 Districts be changed
to A-2 District.
3. A general development plan be submitted with the final plat.
At the P & Z called meeting held August 31, 1976, all members present
recommended that approval of the zoning change from L and A-6 Districts
be changed to A-2 District in the "Enchanted Oaks" Subdivision re ZA 76-3.
