MINUTES of the Regular Meeting of 3 August
1976 and of the Special Meeting of 9 August MINUTES
j 11976 were approved as read.
~The,1977 Proposed Budget was discussed with PUBLIC
citizens present, and Council answered the HEARING
questions raised. Following discussion, the ON 1977

building permits issued during the month of DEPARTMENT

The August activities of the Municipal Court MUNICIPAL

Councilman Hawk informed the Council that the PLANNING
Planning & Zoning Commission will again review & ZONING
the preliminary plat of "Enchanted Oaks" Sub-
division for the requested revisions. Rezoning ZA 76-3
a portion of the land from L and A-6 Districts REQUEST FOR
to A-2 District was set for the initial hearing A-2 ZONING
31 August 1976, provided a telephone poll of
the Commission members indicates their willing-
ness to meet on that date. Councilman Hawk
stated he will prepare a developer's agreement
for said subdivision.
Discussion was had on the definition of PROPOSED SUB-

Mayor Booker proposed Brad Popkin to fill
the unexpired term of retired P&Z member Bob
Pasley. Councilman Goode proposed C. M. Gordo
The Mayor called for a vote on the two names
with the following result: Councilmen Goode
and Hawk for C. M. Gordon; Councilmen Nunn and
Sweet for Brad Popkin. The Mayor broke the tie

Sweet X X approved by the Council appointing Brad Popkin APPOINTING

RESOLUTION NO. 76-21
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of
Southlake, Texas, did pass and approve
Ordinance No. 203, wherein provision is
made for the appointment of members to
the Planning & Zoning Commission; And,
WHEREAS, Bob Pasley was duly appointed
to said commission for a term of three
years, said term expiring May 1, 1978,
under Resolution No. 75-12; And,
WHEREAS, Bob Pasley has found it necessary
to resign from the Commission for personal
reasons and the City Council accepts his
resignation; And,
WHEREAS, it is incumbent upon the,Council
to fill said unexpired term; Now,
THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF SOUTHLAKE, TEXAS, THAT:
Brad Popkin be and is hereby appointed to the Planning & Zoning Commission to serve until May 1, 1978,
