The property is located between SH 114 and Hood-Throop Road and is commonly known as the "old antique shop". The owners are Carey Lavender and Bob Taylor of Grapevine, Dr. William Taylor of Dallas and Dr. John Clariday of Southlake. i The purpose for said zoning request is to accommodate an airport-related light industry, i.e., the manufac- ture of masonry clips to be used in the construction of the Regional Airport. The advantages for the City to have such a business are many - employment, broaden the tax base, etc. The location is not in keeping with the Master Plan, however. For: Knight, Gonzales and Gordon Against: Stickley and Quinn Motion carried.
