Inca GDI:bb 23 1 PLANNING & ZONING COMMISSION SOUTHLAKE, TEXAS March 3, 1970 To the City Council of Southlake, Texas: i On motion by John Quinn, seconded by Harold Knight, the Planning & Zoning Commission recommends that the City Council address a letter of intent to NTCOG for 701 Program assistance for development of utilities and streets and establishing policies and regulations pertaining to same. Submitted by: Elizabeth Stickley Secretary 24 RECOMMENDATIONS FROM THE PLANNING & ZONING COMMISSION 2-10-70 TO THE CITY COUNCIL: On motion by John Shelton, the Planning & Zoning Commission recommends. that Carroll School Road, between Highway 114 and Dove-Roanoke Loop, be widened to the maximum feasible limit and that immediate consideration be given to elimin- ating the present bottleneck of the narrow bridge and that reflectors be applied to the bridge in the interim. On motion by Elizabeth Stickley, the Planning & Zoning Commission recommends that the property on adjacent corners to the new high school shall be restricted to residential zoning. On motion by Harold Knight, the Planning & Zoning Commission requests that the City Council appoint one member in charge of Parks and Playgrounds and that property owners adjoining streams between Dove-Roanoke Loop and Throop Road be con- tacted with a view to their dedicating land for pedestrian and cycle traffic.
