Sweet, Councilmen Brad Popkin and A. C. Urbanosky (arriving late). ABSENT: Councilman Bob Goode. STAFF PRESENT: W. D. Campbell, City Attorney, and W. G. Cline, Water Superintendent. INVOCATION: Mayor Pro Tem. Sweet. Mayor Hawk administered the oath of office to AGENDA ITEM I. Sam Sparger who then took his place on the OATH OF OFFICI Council in Place 3. The Council was informed that M. J. O'Brien AGENDA ITEM I: requested that the matter of his revised plat O'BRIEN'S RE- be dropped at this time and placed on a later VISED PLAT agenda when requested by him. Council's attention was directed to the lette AGENDA ITEM from the Texas Water Quality Board and the III. TWQB Mayor's response. They were also advised of LETTER AND the Ad Hoc Committee, consisting of Jimmy RESPONSE Truelove, George Kolb and Harold Knight, for the purpose of studying the sewer program. Council next considered the matter of a water AGENDA ITEM IV district as proposed by Mssrs. Lee Freese and MUNICIPAL WATE Peter Tart. The City Attorney reviewed some _DISTRICT the legal aspects. Questions and answers fol lowed. Discussion was then had pertaining to purchasing water from the TRA system as well as the City of Grapevine. (At this point, Sparger X X Councilman Urbanosky arrived.) Council agree Sweet X ab to ne - that the City not participate in the proposed, Popkin X water district at this time because of too Urbanosk X many problems and not sufficient time to ad- dress them .
