AN ORDINANCE RECEIVING AND ANNEXING TERRITORY
ADJACENT AND CONTIGUOUS TO THE TOWN OF SOUTW
LASE, TEXASl PROVIDING THAT SUCH AREA SHALL
BECOME A PART OF SAID TOWN AND THAT THS OWNERS
AND INHABITANTS THEREOF SHAD BE ENTITLED
TO ALL THE PRIVILZGE8 OF THE QTHXR CITIMS
OF SAID TOWN, AND BE BOUND BY THS ACTS AND
ORDINANCES NOW IN EFFECT AND TO BE HBREINAOMM
ADOPTEDI FURTHER PROVIDING FOR AMBNDING AND
CORRECTING TIM 0"ICIAL BOUNDARIES OF SAID
w.TOWN AS HERETOFORE-ADOPTED AS AMENDED, AND
PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, pursuant to the provisions of the Acts of
19530 53rd Legislature, Page 357, chapter 93, codified as
Article 974-6, Revised Civil Statutes of Texas, Joe Messina,
Louis Messina, John Messina and Jimmie Messina, owners of the
real property hereinafter described having made application as
by law provided to the Mayor and Town Council of the Town of
Southlake, Texas, for annexation of a tract of land situated
in Denton and Tarrant CountIep,Texas, and being 45 acres out of
the D. DOUTHIT Survey, and-15 acres out of the R. D.'PRICE
Survey, more fully described by motes and bounds as follows$
BXGINNIW at a stake in the N. line of the D. DOUTHIT

THENCE West 262-19/100 varas to a stake in said north linen
THENCE S. 950 varas crossing the 8. line of said DOUTHIT

A plat of said land showing its location with respect to the Town

Southlake, Texas, that all statutory requirements in connection
with said proposed annexation haw been fulfilled and that the m.
above described area is not more than Is mile in width, that not more
than three qualified voters reside thereon, and that the same is mad
adjacent to the present City Limits of the Town of Routhlake, Texas:

THAT, the property hereinabeve described being adjacent, and
contiguous.to the Town Limits of Southlake, Texas, be and is hereby
annexed and brought within the Corporate Limits of said Town and
is hereby made an integral part thereof.
THAT, the owners and inhabitants of the area herein annexed
be entitled to all of the rights and privileges of other citizens
and property owners of said Town and be bound by all of the acts
and ordinances made in conformity thereto, new in full force and
effect and that which may be hereafter adopted.

THAT, the official map and boundaries of the Town of South-
lake, Texas, as heretofore adopted'ind amended, be and is hereby
amended so as to include the aforementioned territory as part of
