CALL TO ORDER Southlake Arts Council Chair Tamara McMillan called the meeting to order at 6:00 P.M. 2. CONSENT AGENDA 2A. APPROVAL OF THE MINUTES FROM THE JUNE 249 2025, SOUTHLAKE ARTS COUNCIL MEETING Chair Tamara McMillan presented item 2A, approval of the minutes from the June 24, 2025, Southlake Arts Council meeting. APPROVED A motion was made to approve the minutes from the June 24, 2025, Southlake Arts Council meeting as presented. PUBLIC FORUM Chair McMillan opened the Public Forum at 6:01 P.M. There being no one to speak, the Public Forum was closed at 6:01 P.M. 4. DISCUSSION 4A. REVIEW OF MSC CALL TO ARTISTS SUBMISSIONS AND SELECTION OF FINALISTS Business Manager of Community Services, Milenka Lopez, presented all submissions to the Call to Artists for the Municipal Service Center. The Southlake Arts Council discussed which proposals they liked the best and selected two finalists to further discuss during the September meeting. Direction to Staff: Reach out to the two finalists and provide feedback. Request revised proposals for the September meeting. 4B. DISCUSS CELEBRATE SOUTHLAKE Business Manager of Community Services, Milenka Lopez, presented Item 4B and provided an update on the timing of Celebrate Southlake. She also asked the Arts Council for input on potential booth activities for the event. Direction to Staff: Keep the same craft from previous years. 4C. FALL EXHIBIT DISCUSSION Business Manager of Community Services, Milenka Lopez, presented Item 4C. The Southlake Arts Council reviewed artwork by Greg Davis and provided feedback on potential changes. Direction to Staff: Contact Greg Davis for additional photos to potentially hang up. 4D. PUBLIC ART PROGRAM UPDATE Community Services Business Manager Milenka Lopez provided an update on the Public Art Program and was available to answer questions.
