Narrative: Site Plan Application for Canopy over Monkey Bars
This site plan application is for a canopy over existing monkey bars on the open field section of
the playgrounds of Eubanks Intermediate School, located at 500 S. Kimball Avenue.
This canopy will provide much needed shade over existing monkey bars for 5th and 6th grade
kids. Currently, the existing monkey bars get too hot during the summer and burn the kids'
hands, and too cold to play with during the winter especially after an ice storm. This canopy will
provide much needed shade so both students and kids from the community can better enjoy
this space throughout the year.
