CALL TO ORDER Chair Magdalena Battles called the Parks and Recreation Board meeting to order at 6:00 p.m. 2. CONSENT AGENDA 2A. APPROVE MINUTES FROM THE PARKS AND RECREATION BOARD MEETING HELD ON MAY 129 2025 The minutes of the May 12, 2025, Parks and Recreation Board meeting were approved with no changes or corrections. Consent Agenda items are considered to be routine and are enacted with one motion by the Board. APPROVED A motion was made to approve the Consent items, including the minutes of the Park Board meeting held on May 12, 2025. ELECTION OF PARKS AND RECREATION BOARD VICE -CHAIR AND SECRETARY Director Miller presented item 4A to the Park Board for consideration. Director Miller was available to answer questions. APPROVED A motion was made to elect Paul Venesky for Vice -Chair and Deanna Kienast for Secretary. Motion: Thomas Second: Battles Ayes: Sansone, Battles, Thomas, Mundlin, Kienast Nays: None Abstain: None Vote: 5-0 Motion passed. 4B. RECOMMENDATION OF APPROVAL FOR THE PROPOSED CHANGES TO THE FY 2026 FEE SCHEDULE Director Miller presented item 4B to the Park Board for consideration. Director Miller was available to answer questions. APPROVED A motion was made to approve the proposed changes to the FY 2026 Fee Schedule. PROPOSED FY 2026 GENERAL FUND OPERATING BUDGET Director of Community Services, David Miller, provided an overview of the Proposed FY 2026 General Fund Operating Budget and was available to answer questions. 5B. CAPITAL IMPROVEMENTS BUDGET UPDATE Director of Community Services, David Miller, provided an overview of the Capital Improvements Budget update and was available to answer questions. 5C. RECREATION AND ATHLETIC TASK FORCE UPDATE Director of Community Services, David Miller, provided an update on the Recreation and Athletic Task Force. Thomas, Sansone, Venesky, Battles, Kienast, and Mundlin expressed interest in serving on the Athletic Task Force. 5D. PROJECT UPDATES Deputy Director of Community Services, Fince Espinoza, provided an update on the projects currently underway in the Parks Division. 5E. PARKS AND RECREATION UPDATE Director of Community Services, David Miller, provided a Parks and Recreation Update and was available to answer questions. 6.
