Item 4F - Attachment B - Letter of Approval City of Southlake July 22, 2025 James McDermott 1808 Jubillee Lane Southlake, TX Re: 1808 Jubilee Lane Drainage Easement Encroachment Dear Mr. McDermott, In response to your request, the City of Southlake Public Works Department has reviewed the encroachment agreement for the placement of stone walls and a stone dock along the side slopes of the existing pond within the drainage easement. The encroachment agreement is scheduled for the August 5, 2025 City Council meeting. Upon approval from City Council, this letter is intended to represent the City’s approval for the proposed stone walls and a stone dock encroachment into the drainage easement with the following requirements: ownership and maintenance of the proposed stone walls and stone dock improvements will be the responsibility of the property owner and not the city. It shall also be noted that per the executed encroachment agreement, the city shall not be responsible for any damage to the stone walls or dock if the city is required to perform maintenance on the ponds due to a failure to maintain the ponds by the property owners.
