A. Select Spring Adopt -a -Street Dates- The purpose of this item is for the
Southlake Youth Action Committee to select a date for their spring Adopt -
a -Street clean-up.
B. Public Art and Park Tour with Vicky Schiber- The purpose of this item is
for the Southlake Youth Action Committee to learn more about
Southlake's public art through the Public Art and Park Tour with Vicky
Schiber.

Action Commission meeting held on October 14, 2024.

3. Discussion
A. Programming Presentation with Recreation Programs Manager
Jennifer Blackstock -
Allison Bedwell presented item 4A, and Milenka Lopez introduced
Recreation Programs Manager Jennifer Blackstock. Jennifer provided
an overview of Southlake Recreation Programs, including Club Metro,
Camp Mania, Athletic Programs, Nature Programs, and FUA's. She
also mentioned opportunities for SYAC students to earn volunteer
hours by volunteering for the Sweetheart Dance and Camp Mania in
the summer.

4. Adjournment — Chair Allison Bedwell adjourned the meeting at 4:35 P.M.
