A. Intern Day 2022- This item allows for a discussion of the upcoming SYAC Intern
Day. No packet document.
B. Ideas and Recommendations for SYAC Next Year- This item allows for a
discussion of how SYAC can be improved next year. No packet document.
C. CIP Protect Wrap Up- This item allows for a discussion wrapping up the 2022
SYAC CIP project and to prepare for a City Council presentation in May. No
packet document.

MEMBERS PRESENT: Srishthi Das, Noor-E-Saher Ahmed, Sana Khan, Sophia Wilwayco,
Ayana Perera, Sophia Ahmed, Sara Jamal, Sarah Ali, Eesha Bethi, Saarim Syed, Katy Lin,
Surina Kishinchandani, and Ria Singh
AGENDA:
Call to Order — Meeting was called to order at 4:19 PM by Chair Katy Lin.
2. Consent
A. Approve the minutes from the March 21, 2022- Motion to approve the
minutes with no corrections was made by Saarim Syed and seconded by
Noor-E-Saher Ahmed Motion carried (5-0).
3. Discussion
A. Volunteer Opportunities
Assistant to the Director, Milenka Lopez, presented options for the last Adopt -
A -Street cleanup day and informed SYAC of the Great American Cleanup-
Southlake Style event on April 30. SYAC chose Monday, April 18 as the date
for the final cleanup.
B. Intern Day 2022
Assistant to the Director, Milenka Lopez presented information about the
upcoming Intern Day and was available to answer questions.
C. CIP Project
Assistant to the Director, Milenka Lopez, presented the wrap up of the 2022
CIP Project and was available to answer questions. SYAC members broke up
into groups to prepare their presentation for the May 17, 2022, City Council
meeting.
4. Adjournment — Motion to adjourn the meeting at 5:15 p.m. was made by Saarim
Syed and seconded by Noor-E-Saher Ahmed. Motion carried (5-0)
