A. Southlake Youth Associations The purpose of this item is for the Parks
& Recreation Board to review reports. Representatives from Southlake's
youth athletic associations have been invited to present information related
to their respective associations and answer any questions from the board.

review prior to the meeting.

from the board. The tennis center dashboard is included in your packet.
C. Park Facility Rentals — The purpose of this item is for the Parks & Recreation
Board to review reports for Parks Facility Rentals. Director Miller will present this
dashboard and answer any questions from the board. The facility rental
dashboard is included in your packet.
5. Agenda Item No. 5. Discussion
A. Parks & Recreation Board Work Plan — Director Miller will lead a discussion
regarding the creation of a Parks & Recreation Board Annual Work Plan. No
packet document.
B. Pickleball Facility Opening Update — Director Miller will present an update on the
opening of the Pickleball Facility. No packet document.
C. Turf Project Update — Director Miller will present an update on the progress
of the Athletic Fields Turf Conversion Project. No packet document.
D. Parks & Recreation Update — Director Miller will provide a Parks & Recreation
Department update. This is a standing item on the agenda to allow staff to update
the board on Parks & Recreation -related topics and upcoming activities and
events. No packet document.
E. March 2024 Meeting Date — The purpose of this item is for the Parks & Recreation
Board to discuss possibly changing the March meeting date from March 111" to
March 18t" due to Spring Break.

Southlake Parks Development Corporation President Randy Williamson and Parks and
Recreation Board Chair Frances Scharli called the Joint SPDC and Parks Board meeting
to order at 4:02pm.

FOR AN AMOUNT NOT TO EXCEED $499,000. (SPDC ACTION ONLY)

Director of Community Services David Miller presented Item 4A and answered questions
from the Board.
A motion was made to approve SPDC funding for landscaping services with O'Donnell's
Landscape Services, LLC, dba Yellowstone Landscape, for an amount not to exceed
$499,000, noting staff to monitor the contract services provided.

IMPROVEMENT PROGRAM PRIORITIES (SPDC & PB ACTION).
Director of Community Services David Miller presented Item 4B and answered questions
from the Board.
President Williamson opened a public hearing at 4:43pm. There being no one wishing to
speak, President Williamson closed the public hearing at 4:43pm.

A motion was made to approve Item 4B, recommendation on the proposed FY 2024-2028
Capital Improvement Program Priorities, as presented, but noting staff may need to
consider the prioritization of certain projects in the future with a focus on SSC.
