A. Approve minutes from the Parks and Recreation Board meeting held
November 8, 2021. Please make any corrections to the minutes
part of the motion for consideration.
B. Absence of Parks and Recreation Board Members - The Board will
consider the absence of Vice Chair Paul Venseky and Board Member
Magdalena Battles from the November 8, 2021 meeting. A copy of the
Attendance Report is in your packet.
3. Agenda Item 3. Public Forum
This is the public's opportunity to address the Board about non -agenda
items. During Public Forum, the Board will not discuss or take action on any
item brought up at this time.

4. Agenda Item 4. Reports
A. Southlake Youth Athletic Associations Reports — Representatives from
Southlake's youth athletic associations have been invited to the meeting
to present information related to their respective association. Dashboard
participation statistics, by association, are included within your packet for
review prior to the meeting.
5. Agenda Item 5. Consider
A. Recommendation on a proposed SPDC Matching Funds Request
from the Carillon HOA for a Lake Carillon erosion project- Staff will
provide a detailed presentation of the scope of this project at the
meeting. The Carillon HOA has proposed a matching funds project
that will repair and improve the erosion along the banks of Lake
Carillon, a city -owned, HOA maintained park. There is significant
erosion in several areas along the bank of the lake that need to be
addressed. The scope of this project is beyond the HOA's
responsibility for maintenance (mowing, trimming, irrigation, trash
pickup, etc.) of the park. Contact Director Tribble with questions.
6. Agenda Item 6. Discussion
A. Parks & Recreation Update - The purpose of this item is to allow for
discussion and updates on Parks & Recreation related topics.
B. March 2022 Meeting Date — The purpose of this item is to allow for
the Board to discuss potential dates in March to reschedule the March
14 date that falls during CISD spring break.
7. Agenda Item 7. Adjournment

Park Board Vice Chair Paul Venesky's absence from the October 11, 2021 meeting was
excused.

and revised March 2, 2010, provides a mechanism for consideration of
