Johnny H. Westerholm. Charles Curry,
Betty Springer, David McMahan and
Rick Stacy. Councilperson Jim Wooll
arrived late for the meeting.
CITY STAFF PRESENT: City Manager;
Lloyd 0. Latta Jr.
Mayor Westerholm called the meeting
to order and read the agenda item.
Councilperson David McMahan stated
he called the meeting in an effort
to discuss city personnel. The
amount of funds currently being
spent on city personnel, the ratio
of employees at Southlake in compari-
son to other cities of Southlake's
size. However, the format of the
advertising on the agenda prohibited
City Council from discussion these
items in closed session.
The discussion today centered around
the annual salaries of the City
Officers; City Manager and City
Secretary. After discussion, Council
members concurred that neither.positio
will receive a pay increase during
Fiscal Year 1988.
The City Manager because it is a new
position and he has not been in the
position but six months. The City
Secretary, because she also holds
a new position under the Home Rule
Charter, with less responsibilities
than she had under General Law
form of government.
The meeting was adjourned by Mayor
Westerholm.
