tor; Larry Munsie, Director of Public
Works; Bill LeGrand. '
INVOCATION: David McMahan.
The Mayor called the meeting to '
order and explained that the Emergency
Meeting was called in conjunction
with V.T.A.S. Article 6252-17e. '
Litigation.
The Council immediately adjourned '
and went into closed session as
stated above.
Upon return, Resolution 86-65 was RESOLUTIJ
discussed. Mayor Latta stated the 86-65
resolution is asking Council to
authorize a legal firm to issue a
temporary restraining order at this
point in time, with a total expendi-
ture of from $20,000 to $24,000.
Council is to have a daily report
from the attorney who will contact
Mr. Munsie, who in turn will contact
each councilperson and keep them
posted on a day to day basis. Mr.
Colby Springer, chairperson of the
Southlake Aircraft Noise Awareness
Committee will be the focal point
between the city, the attorney, and
the committee.
Councilperson Westerholm gave a sum-
mary of the F.A.A. and D.F.W. Board
and their relationship with the
community of Southlake.
