PLANNING AND ZONING COMMISSIONERS: Jeff Ault and Billy Jon Curb. INVOCATION: Johnny Westerholm. MAYORS REPORT: Mayor Sparger announced that the city has entered into a contract with City of Keller concerning the water expansion project. Engineer, Eddie Cheatham elaborated on the subject. Mayor Sparger announced that he will be moving out of Southlake, therefore, he is resigning his position as Mayor of Southlake. The resignation is effective immediately. Upon the announcement, he turned the meeting over to Mayor Pro Tem, Lloyd Latta. City Attorney, Bill Smith explained to council that under the state statutes, Latta has the power to serve as Mayor and that the council has the option to appoint a Mayor to fill the unexpired term or they may call a special election. Latta broke the tie vote with a vote opposing the motion. Motion was again made to approve the final plat contingent upon percolation tests being provided on each lot and the tests that fail, an adequate alternate solution be Westerholm x approved before the building permit McCombs x x can be issued on any lot. Bone x The 8.78 acre tract of land will come into the city as A-3 Single Family Zoning. The recommendation concerning Ordin- ance No. 160-A 9.3e, presented by the Planning and Zoning Commission was discussed, however, council felt it should go back to the commission Westerholm x until clarified further.
