INVOCATION: Bruce McCombs The Minutes of the December 6, city council meeting were approved as corrected. MAYORS REPORT: Mayor Sparger reported that a meet- ing took place on December 12, with representatives from City of'Keller, City of Grapevine, and a representa- tive from the Hunt Ranch,present. Purpose of the meeting was to discuss the possibility of cost sharing on the water line which will be run approximately eight and one-half miles, from the west side of Keller to North White Chapel Road in Southlake. Sparger announced that he has talked with Tom Anderlitch, the cities bonding agent, and indicated that he has no problem getting bonds sold on our time table. Councilperson Eubanks reported that he has talked with Brian Black, the person responsible for routing mail in Tarrant County. Mr. Black seemed receiptive to have one town address to all areas in Southlake. He indicated that the story of DFW is 20 years.old with the master plan being developed in 1970. The latest target date for completing the new runway is March 1985. It is planned to have 200 operations per day, on the 9,300 foot runway. The Joint Airport Board Authority passed an ordinance in 1976 setting up restrictions in conjunction with the F.A.A. A public hearing was held concerning a proposed ordinance for the control of "No Parking" areas on certain city streets. Chief Phillips named several areas of concern, which include: Shady Lane, North White Chapel Road, Brumlow Avenue, to name a few. The public hearing will be continued at the next city council meeting. Latta x x ZA 83-46. The zoning change ZA 83-44 requested for a 37.2 acre tract of ZONING land was not discussed, after the HEARING Mayor read a letter from owner, POSTPONED Wayne Lee, requesting the item be postponed until the January 17, city council meeting. The public hearing will be considered at that time. ZA 83-45.
