Latta CITY STAFF PRESENT: Water Superinten- dent; Wallace Cline, Fire Chief; Bob Steele, Police Chief; Larry Williams, City Attorney; Bill Smith INVOCATION: Johnny Westerholm The Minutes of the January 5,1982, City Council meeting were approved as presented. During the Mayors Report, Mayor Sparge reported that Council met with the City Bonding Agent, Tom Anderlitsch, before tonights meeting and we are ready to sell the bonds in the amount of $400,000. Mayor Sparger informed Council that GARBAGE three bids were received for a garbage SERVICE service for Southlake. The following FOR companies submitted bids: Lake Side SOUTHLAKE Sanitation, One Way Service and Tarrant County Waste Disposal. LAKE SIDE Mr. H.J. Gray, owner of Lake Side SANITATIOIS Sanitation was present and the Mayor stated that his bid was lowest at $6.2 for twice per week service. The Commercial rates were included in the bid. The bid indicated that 10% franchise fee would be retained by the City on residential customers while no fee would be retained on Commercial customers as the city would not bill on those accounts. Stricker x Motion was made and approved to Westerholm x x accept the bid by Gray conditioned McCombs x to satisfy resolution to commercial Massey x x customers, and contingent upon franchise agreement.
