The Minutes of the December 1S, regular
City Council Meeting were approved,
as were the Minutes of the December
21, Special City Council Meeting.
MAYORS REPORT:
Mayor Sparger announced that the new
Police Car was delivered on this date.
Latta made the statement to Council
in an effort to answer questions
concerning the future water storage
of Southlake, that in order to
obtain State Certification of our
water system, a rule of thumb is,
1 million gallons of over head
storage for 3 thousand people, is

McCombs x x Resolution 82-1 was approved which RESOLUTIC

of Adjustments for a term of two APPROVED

Developers Burger and Eakins were
present as was their engineer Eddie
Cheatum.
The request for variance to the final GINGER
plat of Ginger Creek Estates was CREEK
explained to Council by John Levitt, ESTATES
engineer for Norman Rowe, owner of
Ginger Creek Estates. Mr. Levitt said
they are requesting a change to the
typical section of the roadway and not
a change to the final plat.
Latta x x Motion was made to approve the variance
Westerholm x x provided the drainage easement on
McCombs x Lot 9 be revised to uniformity across
Massey x the roadway.
A formula for rebate on water lines
was discussed at length, when motion
was made to double the water tap fees
and rebate 500 of the fee to the
Latta x x Developer up to a maximum of 500 of the

Massey X Mayor Sparger broke the tie vote with
a vote against the motion. POLICY
FOR WATER
The above motion was revised to rebate LINE
500 of the fee to the Developer up EXTENSION
to a maximum of 50% of the actual REBATE
Latta x x incurred cost for up to 3 years for a
Westerholm x x distance of 250 feet. It was added
McCombs x that no smaller than 6 inch was lines
Massey x may be installed. The motion was
approved.

Westerholm x advertise for sealed bids on the old
McCombs x communications equipment which has bee

Westerholm x a file cabinet for the City Secretary.

Latta x x After discussion, motion was made and
Westerholm x approved to adopt the new Developers
McCombs x Agreement Standard form with corrections
Massey x x as stated during the meeting. A copy
of the agreement is hereby attached
to the minutes.
Latta x The bills presented were approved for
Westerholm x payment, omitting the fire insurance
McCombs x x renewal as listed on the list of
Massey x x bills.
The meeting was adjourned by Mayor
Sparger.
