item brought up at this time.
4. Agenda Item 4. Discussion
A. Southlake 2035 Parks, Recreation & Open Space Master Plan — The
purpose of this item is to allow for an update and discussion on the
Parks Master Plan following its consideration by the City Council on
1st Reading June 1, 2021.

Chairman Frances Scharli called the regular Parks and Recreation Board meeting to
order at 6:00 p.m.

2A. APPROVE MINUTES FROM THE PARKS AND RECREATION BOARD MEETING
HELD APRIL 12, 2021
The minutes of the April 12, 2021 Park Board meeting were approved with no changes
or corrections.
Consent Agenda items are considered to be routine and are enacted with one motion by
the Board.

A motion was made to approve the Consent items, including the minutes of the regular
Park Board meeting held April 12, 2021.

4A. RECOMMENDATION ON THE ADOPTION OF THE SOUTHLAKE 2035 PARKS,
RECREATION & OPEN SPACE MASTER PLAN
Director of Community Services Chris Tribble presented the Southlake 2035 Parks,
Recreation & Open Space Master Plan and was available to answer questions. Senior
Director of Planning and Development Services Ken Baker and Policy & Strategic
Initiative Principal Planner Jerod Potts were also available to answer questions.

A motion was made to recommend the Southlake 2035 Parks, Recreation & Open Space
Master Plan as presented.
