CONSIDER PROPOSED NAME FOR CITY PARK LOCATED WITHIN THE METAIRIE DEVELOPMENT Director of Community Services Chris Tribble presented the proposed name for City park located within the Metairie Development and was available to answer questions. APPROVED A motion was made to approve the City park name as John R. Shivers Park within the Metairie Development as presented. Motion: Venesky Second: Craddock Ayes: Battles, Bedwell, Craddock, Driscoll, Ng, Scharli, and Venesky Nays: None Abstain: None Vote: 7-0 Motion carried. 5. DISCUSSION 5A. PARKS AND RECREATION UPDATE Director Chris Tribble presented the Parks & Recreation update on upcoming events and was available to answer questions. Chairman Frances Scharli updated the board on a recent meeting she had regarding pickleball courts in Southlake. Director Tribble was available to answer questions. The board discussed and was in favor of prioritizing pickleball courts as part of the 2035 recommendations. WORK SESSION AGENDA 6. Southlake residents were present and discussed concerns and opinions. Park Board heard the input and took the recommendations into consideration for current planning events. 7.
