1. CALL TO ORDER
Southlake Arts Council Chair Tamara McMillan called the meeting to order at 6:01
P.M.
2. CONSENT AGENDA
2A. APPROVAL OF THE MINUTES FROM THE APRIL 22, 2025, SOUTHLAKE
ARTS COUNCIL MEETING
Chair Tamara McMillan presented item 2A, approval of the minutes from
the April 22, 2025, Southlake Arts Council meeting.
APPROVED
A motion was made to approve the minutes from the April 22, 2025,
Southlake Arts Council meeting as presented.

3. PUBLIC FORUM
Viktorin, Steinbrecher, McMillan, and Alt. Georgia
Chair McMillan opened the Public Forum at 6:03 P.M.
There being no one to speak, the Public Forum was closed at 6:03 P.M.
4. DISCUSSION
4A. SOUTHLAKE PRESENTS REVIEW
Chair Tamara McMillan presented Item 4A, during which the Southlake Arts
Council discussed the recently held Southlake Presents Art Reception. As part of
the discussion, the Council suggested improvements such as establishing a
theme for the event.
Direction to Staff: Southlake Arts Council Chair Tamara McMillan requested that
staff begin advertising for the next Southlake Presents Art Reception earlier and
with increased frequency.
4B. PUBLIC WORKS MUNICIPAL SERVICE CENTER CALL TO ARTIST REVIEW
Business Manager of Community Services Milenka Lopez presented Item 4B.
The Southlake Arts Council reviewed the draft of the Call to Artist and provided
suggested edits and feedback. .
Direction to Staff: Southlake Arts Council Chair Tamara McMillan directed staff to
incorporate the Council's suggested edits into the Call to Artist draft and publish
it.
4C. FALL EXHIBIT ARTIST SELECTION.
Terri Messing presented Item 4C, during which the Southlake Arts Council
reviewed the Artist Selection and selected Greg Davis as their first -choice artist for
the Fall Exhibit.
Direction to Staff: Southlake Arts Council Chair Tamara McMillan directed staff to
initiate contact with Greg Davis.
4D. PUBLIC ARTS UPDATE
