Days and hours of operations shall be included if time limits or tow away provisions are to be enforced by the owner. Information identifying voltage and amperage levels or safety information must be posted. 4)Design should be appropriate to the location and use. Facilities should be able to be readily identified by electric vehicle drivers but blend into the surrounding landscape/architecture for compatibility with the character and use of the site. 5)Equipment shall be located so as not to impede pedestrian travel, create trip hazards on sidewalks, or interfere with accessibility requirements. 6)Regulations for the electric vehicle charging equipment and spaces shall be established in the specific use permit. These regulations may include but are not limited to location; size of equipment; signage, including directional signage (if any); and lighting (if any). SUP Regulations for EV Charging Spaces Surrounding Property Owner Responses For: Opposed: Undecided: Planning and Zoning Commission Action May 8, 2025; Approved (7-0), subject to the Staff Report dated May 2, 2025, also subject to the Specific Use Permit Review Summary No. 2, dated May 2, 2025, and noting: •Requesting the applicant to bring the primary term of the lease and any options to City Council for City Council to evaluate; •Also noting that the applicant has agreed to bring options with regard to the paint color of the equipment and shielding and screening options of the equipment, and •Also noting that we requested staff to make a recommendation on any term of the approval based on prior approvals of similar equipment.
