Information: Several Southlake boards and commissions include City Council
appointees. Board members are typically two years, unless an
individual is appointed to fill a vacancy. During their time in office,
Council members are assigned to serve on various boards.
However, board terms often do not align with Council members'
elected terms. As a result, when a Council member leaves office, it
may create a vacancy on the associated board or commission.
