INVOCATION: Bruce McCombs The Minutes of the June 16,1981, meeting were approved as presented. MAYORS REPORT: Mayor Sparger reported on the budget progress. He also indicated that he would be on vacation the week of July 12. Sparger read a letter from the Mayor of White Settlement, asking that each City in the Tarrant County Appraisal District contribute $200. toward expenses in the law suit against the Tarrant County Appraisal District There were no objections from the Council. Stricker x x Resolution 81-19 was approved, naming RESOLUTIO McCombs X Johnnie Loris and Mary O'Brien as 81-19 Massey x x members of the Welcome Committee. WELCOME Councilpersons Massey and Stricker COMMITTE- serve as liaison officers for that committee. After extensive discussion, Ordinance No. 261-A, amending Ordinance No. 261 Zoning Ordinance for the City of Southlake, was approved. The amendment was approved as written. During the public hearing, Mrs. Rita Cannella, of Brookwood Lane, Southlak , ask the City Attorney to give a sumar of the amendment, which he did. Mr. Smith informed the audience that in the election of 1973, Southlake was given the right to sell Off Premises Packaged Beer and have Private Clubs, both by special use only. ZA 81-8. Final plat for the Ginger ZA 81-8 rickey x x Creek Estates subdivision was approve FINAL PLA'. Combs x as presented. McCombs indicated that APPROVED Massey x x P & Z recommended approval at the last meeting of the Commission. Both John Levitt, engineer, and Norma Rowe, owner, were present for the meeting. ZA 81-20. Approval was given for ZA 81-20 Stricker x a replat of Lot 18, Cedar Oaks REPLAT McCombs x x Estates. Lot 18A and Lot 18B will LOT 18 Massey x x each be 1.3 acres in size.
