MAYORS REPORT: Mayor Hawk read a Proclamation honoring the Fire Department, for receiving the Fire Department of the Year Award given by the Tarrant Count Fire Fighters Association. Leasha Klepper, Miss Flame, was awarded as Tarrant County Miss Flame for 1981. Authorization was given by Mayor Hawk to have a gas detector installed in Station #2, at a cost not to excee $100. Councilman Latta gave a report concer - ing the realignment of the City offices, adding the billing clerk to the Administration staff. Latta will prepare a job description for the billing clerk. Reproduction machine security was discussed. The responsibility of the machine was placed on the City Secretary and Police Chief. Urbanosky x X Massey x x Discussion was held concerning the contents of a newsletter to be mailed in the next few days. Primary reason for the newsletter is to inform Citiz ns of the new garbage rates to become effective April 1. Sparger x x ZA 80-45. Approval was given to the ZA 80-45 Stricker x replat of Lots 14 and 15 of the Cedar APPROVED Latta x x Oaks Subdivision, thus making Lot 14A Urbanosky x and 14B and Lot 15A and 15B. Owner, Massey Carter Hallmark was not present for the meeting. Recommendation by P $ Z was in favor of the replat. Sparger x x ZA 80-44 Replat of Lot 1 of the Ceder Stricker x Oa s Subdivision was approved, making ZA 80-44 Latta x x Lot IA and 1B. Wayne Lee, owner, APPROVED Urbanosky x was present. P & Z recommended Massey x approval of the replat. Sparger x ZA 81-3 Zoning was approved for Stricker x Lot 2 Block 5, Southlake Park Additio Latta x x No. 2. Zoning was changed from Agri- Urbanosky x cultural to A-3 Single Family. There Massey x x were no comments during the public hearing. P & Z recommended approval. Sparger x ZA 81-4 Request for a "Special ZA 81-4 Stricker x Use Permit" for the Sale of Alcoholic TABLED Latta x x Beverages was made by Bettye L. Urbanosky x x Hart. Mrs. Hart is the new owner Massey x of Wolf's Club. There were no comments during the public hearing, however, Councilperson Urbanosky made the motion to continue the publi hearing based on a clarification of the term "on premisses consumption" The City Attorney is to report on this at the next City Council meeting. There were no comments during the public hearing. Owners, Stephen and Pam Kidwell were present. The proposed Zoning Ordinance No. 261 was discussed at length. During the public hearing, comments were made by Harold Knight and Larry Sarmartin. To assure that all items in the Ordinance are understood by Council members, a worksession is scheduled for February 24, at 7 p.m. The public hearing will be continued at the next City Council meeting. Latta x x Urbanosky x Massey x Approval was also given for two Police officers to go to Wichita Fall Sparger x x to serve warrants. The City will Stricker x furnish gasoline expenses. Latta x Urbanosky x x Massey x Monthly reports were presented from Fire Department, Building Department, Water Department and Court. Sparger x Stricker x x The bills presented were approved for Latta x payment. Urbanosky x Massey x x Councilperson Latta reported on various Water Department areas, including raw sewerage problems with- in the City and the Communications system for the Cities, fire, police and crater departments.
