The Minutes of the November 18,1980
meeting were approved as presented.
MAYORS REPORT
Mayor Pro Tem, Sparger, reported that
due to the complaints on the narrow
intersection of Brumlow Avenue and
Highway 26, the County has agreed to
put in a twelve (12) foot can at
the intersection. Mayor Hawk authori -
ed Sparger to have the work done.
Payment can be approved when the bill
is presented.
The excused absence of Councilperson
Latta was again confirmed.

Urbanosky x x was approved. His term will expire APPROVED
Massey x May, 1983. Kasper took the Oath of
Office.
Vernie Henderson, representing Lone
Star Gas Company, gave a presentation
requesting a rate increase. Henderson
indicated the statement of intent
was filed with the City Secretary
on November 19,1980.

Stricker X Council approved the findings that
Urbanosky x will support the rate increase request.

Oakwood Country Estates, was tabled FINAL
until the next meeting. PLAT

Leon Levitt, engineer, was present
and represented David Claude, owner,
developer. The preliminary plat for
the entire 96 acre tract of land has
been approved, but will be presented
in four (4) phases,according to the
engineer.
An extensive discussion was held
concerning a survey conflict on
property owned by Howard Thrasher
and Jesse Vester. RE; ZA 80-39.
Council gave Mr. Thrasher until Dec.
5,1980, to submit additional
information concerning the surveys.
The property in question was approved
for "H" Heavy Commercial Zoning.
It was established that no Ordinance
is needed lowering the Speed Limit
on Highway 114 during construction.

Urbanosky x Municipal Election Law, January,
