1. Consider: Closing of City Hall on December 24,1979.
2. Consider: Streets in the Quail Creek Subdivision.
3. ZA 79-31 Zoning request for a 13.233 acre tract and a
13.32 acre tract of land out of the John A. Freeman
Survey, Abstract 529, Tracts 1B2 and 1B.
Present zoning is Agricultural. Request is for
"H" Heavy Commercial District for the frontage 10.9
acre tract. 3 acres as A-6 Two-Family District and
the remaining 12 acres for "S" Service Commercial
District. Owner: Mel Hobratsch, president of East
Texas Properties.
Public Hearing.
4. ZA 79-40. Zoning request for a .903 acre tract of land out of
the John Childress Survey, Abstract 254, Tracts 3C2 and
3ES. Present zoning is Agricultural. Request is for
A-1 Single Family District. Owner: Jean Rager Kelley.
Public Hearing.
S. ZA 79-41. Zoning request for a 12.729 acre tract out of the
Christopher Dart Survey, Abstract 2003. Present zoning
is Agricultural. Request is A-3 Single Family District.
Owner: Michael Lamp
Public Hearing.
6. ZA 79-42. Consider abandonment of the future dedicated city
street in the Trail Creek Subdivision. The future
street is located off of Post Oak Trail.

The minutes of the November 6,1979
city council meeting were approved,
as were the minutes of the special
city council meeting of November 8.

Mayor Hawk reviewed for council
and citizens, the particulars
concerning the dedicated city
street. The following citizens
were present and voiced opinion
concerning the matter.
Mrs. Craig, Lot 11, Trail Creek.
opposed to future through street.
Mr. Callen, Lot S Blk 1, Trail Creek.
opposed to through traffic for
reasons of security for the neigh-
borhood, drainage, conditions of
existing streets.
Mr. Scruggs, Lot 7 Blk 2, Trail Cr.
opposed for security reasons and
suggests abandment.
Mr. Head, Lot 16 Blk 1,
does not want through traffic.
Mr. West, Lot 17 Blk 1 ,
does not want through traffic.
Mr. Crosby, (by telephone),
opposed to through traffic, street
in such bad repair.
Mrs. Wood, Lot 10 Blk 2,
road in bad repair, no through
traffic desired.
! Mr. Lightsey, Lot 1 Blk 2,
i opposed to through traffic, streets,
i security as reasons.
Paul Thrash, Lot 8, Cedar Oaks,
indicated he purchased his lot with
the understanding he would have

Oak Trail.

during the meeting where his reques PUBLIC

meeting. Mr. Kelley is requesting
