Carroll Avenue OF Index No. MEMBER Caption Page 2 of 3 pages Ozell Cline reported that the City's water is SAFE DRINK- within the safe limits at this time under the ING WATER present guidelines set forth in the Safe Drink-ACT REPORT ing Water Act but more stringent regulations are forthcoming in 1977. Superintendent Clin advocates increasing water rates 104 per WATER RATES 1,000 gallons, as well as going to 604 per 1,000 over 14,000 and increasing the monthly minimum on larger meters. [Council called for bids to be advertised for repainting the in- terior of the overhead water storage tank. Following his monthly report on building per- mits, Building Inspector Senn advised the BUILDING Council that he has told Tirex Industries to PERMIT REPORT have their premises cleaned up by the end of two weeks. He further advised that houses built on lots in designated flood plain areas in Continental Park Estates must meet the minimum elevations indicated on the filed plat. The City Secretary/Court Clerk reported the MUNICIPAL October municipal court activities. COURT REPORT The City Secretary reported to the Council on the Public Works Employment Act of 1976 EDA REPORT which provides federal funds for municipal projects. The Mayor Pro Tem requested her to pursue the possibility of filing an appli- cation. Berry X X The Council approved payment of the bills BILLS Nunn X X presented to them as per the attached list.
