1956-12-29 Regular CC Meeting MINUTES - CALLED MEETING - Dec. 29, 1956 TOWN COUNCIL OF THE TOTVIN OF SOUTHLAKE',, TEXAS Pursuant to the call of the Mayor, and to notice given to all I members of the Town Council, stating; the time, place and purpose of the meeting, a Called Meeting of the Tow Council, Southlake, • Texas was held Saturday afternoon December 29 1956 at 2:30 P.M. in the Clubhouse at Western Hatcheries. The following members were present, constituting a quorum: Mayor, A. Gail Eubanks Aldermen: C. M. Gordon John E. Quinn 1. Lee Yantis Mayor Eubanks called the meeting; to order, and asked that the ' minutes and other r egular businessbe dispensed in order that the Council could more quickly proceed with the special business. It was so moved by C. M. Gordon, Seconded by W. Lee Yantis. I Motion p assed unanimously. The Council then proceeded to consider the following Ordinances: Ordinance No. 19 was introduced entitled "AN ORDINANCF RFCFIV- ING AND ANNEXING TERRITORY ADJA6ENT AND CONTIGUOUS TO THE TOWN OF SOUTHLAKE, TEXAS . . . " Same concerning property of Norman W. Bennett and wife, Dorothy lone Bennett, owners of the real property . described therein. On motion of J, E. Quinn, Seconded by W. Lee Yantis, said ordinance was passed unanimously and adopted..
