Policy.
I. Approve final concept and contract with artist Michael Warrick in an
amount not to exceed $90,000 for public art to be installed at the Zena
Rucker and Tower roundabout.

Judge and authorize the Mayor to execute an agreement.

Section 418.183(f): Texas Disaster Act. The City Council may deliberate information: 1)
for purposes of preventing, investigating, or responding to an act of terrorism or related
criminal activity and involving emergency response providers, their staffing, contact
information and tactical plans; 2) that relates to the risk or vulnerability of persons or
property, including infrastructure, to an act of terrorism; 3) that relates to the assembly
of an explosive weapon, the location of a material that may be used in a chemical,
biological or radioactive weapon, or unpublished information pertaining to vaccines or
devices to detect biological agents or toxins; 4) that relates to details of the encryption
codes or security keys for a public communication system; 5) that relates to a terrorism-

Masonry
ollowing:Masonry Ordinance No. 557, as amended, requires all buildings to have exterior
walls constructed using a masonry material covering at least 80% of said walls,

walkway covers. The applicant is requesting a variance to allow composite and
metal panes as fagade materials on the music building.

Director of Community Services Chris Tribble presented Item 913 and answered
questions from Council.
Motion was made to approve Item 913, a Facilities Utilization Agreement for Girls
Lacrosse, and granting the following:

- A one-year Facilities Use Agreement to the Southlake Girls Lacrosse Association.
Also noting:
- Mandatory that this organization creates a board of a minimum of eight board
members, of equal representation from SGLA and SCLA.
- Identify neutral board members.
- SGLA to incorporate both head coaches, one from each SGLA and SCLA.
- City Council wishes to have a commitment and strong direction, as part of this
agreement that SGLA is to focus on all of the girls and their talent for teams.
