The City Council may deliberate information: 1) for purposes of preventing, investigating, or responding to an act of terrorism or related criminal activity and involving emergency response providers, their staffing, contact information and tactical plans; 2) that relates to the risk or vulnerability of persons or property, including infrastructure, to an act of terrorism; 3) that relates to the assembly of an explosive weapon, the location of a material that may be used in a chemical, biological or radioactive weapon, or unpublished information pertaining to vaccines or devices to detect biological agents or toxins; 4) that relates to details of the encryption codes or security keys for a public communication system; 5) that relates to a terrorism - related report to an agency of the United States; 6) that relates to technical details of particular vulnerabilities of critical infrastructure to an act of terrorism; 7) that relates to information regarding security measures or security systems intended to protect public and private property from an act of terrorism. SOUTHLAKE BUSINESS SPOTLIGHT - GAMEDAY AT THE GIFT STORE Deputy Director of Economic Development & Tourism Daniel Cortez introduced Mr Jeff Baker representing Gameday, who provided information on their Southlake location. 4. HONORS AND RECOGNITION: PROCLAMATION FOR CHILD ABUSE PREVENTION MONTH Mayor Hill presented a proclamation acknowledging support for Child Abuse Prevention Month during the month of April to Alliance for Children representative Katia Gonzalez, followed by pictures with Council. MUNICIPAL COURT UPDATE Municipal Court Judge Carol Montgomery provided an update on the status of the Municipal Court and answered questions from Council. 6. SIGN ORDINANCE AMENDMENT Senior Director of Planning and Development Services Ken Baker provided a review of possible amendments to the City's Sign Ordinance (704-1) relative to flat panel signs, non -illuminated letter signs and for sale and leasing signs. Director Baker answered questions from Council and thanked his staff for their hard work on this project. 7. DISCUSS ALL ITEMS ON TONIGHT'S AGENDA. Mayor Hill reviewed the items on tonight's consent agenda. REGULAR SESSION: Immediately following the work session 1. CALL TO ORDER Regular Session was called to order by Mayor Hill at 6:30pm. 2A. No action was necessary 3. REPORTS: 3A. MAYOR'S REPORT Mayor Hill introduced Police Chief James Brandon who provided a recap of the recent SPARK meeting regarding school safety. Mayor Hill stated her appreciation to Chief Brandon, City staff, and CISD, as well as to the parents who attended the meeting. Mayor Hill has received feedback that other cities want to model our program and conduct similar meetings. 313. The applicant is proposing a stacking depth of approximately 50 - feet. - Driveway Ordinance No. 634, as amended, Section 5.1, requires a minimum centerline driveway spacing of 250 -feet along an arterial. The applicant is proposing a centerline spacing of approximately 199 -feet between the proposed driveway on the property and the future driveway to the north shown on the site plan and on the previously approved concept plan.
