CITY COUNCIL PRESENT: Mayor Laura Hill, Mayor Pro Tem Randy Williamson, Deputy
Mayor Pro Tem Brandon Bledsoe (arrived at 6:26 p.m.) and Councilmembers John Huffman,
Shawn McCaskill, and Shahid Shafi.
CITY COUNCIL ABSENT: Gary Fawks
STAFF PRESENT: City Manager Shana Yelverton, Assistant City Manager Ben Thatcher,
Assistant City Manager Alison Orlowski, Assistant to the City Manager Daniel Cortez, Chief
Financial Officer Sharen Jackson, Director of Human Resources Stacey Black, Director of
Information Technology Greg Hendricks, Director of Economic Development and Tourism
Shannon Hamons, Police Chief James Brandon, Deputy Director of Communications Pilar

Agenda Item No. 1. Call to order. The meeting was called to order by Mayor Hill at 5:36 p.m.
Agenda Item No. 2. FY2016 Budget Overview. City Manager Shana Yelverton and Assistant
City Manager Ben Thatcher presented the FY2016 budget overview. Along with Mrs. Yelverton
and Mr. Thatcher, Chief Financial Officer Sharen Jackson and Director of Human Resources
Stacey Black answered questions from Council.
