1. Call to order.
2. A. Executive Session: Pursuant to the Open Meetings Act, Chapter 551,
Texas Government Code, Sections 551.072 — deliberate regarding real
property.
B. Reconvene: Reconvene the meeting and take any action necessary on
items discussed in Executive Session.
3. Discuss conveyance of CISD property related to Kirkwood Boulevard extension.
4. Discuss abandonment of excess street right of way at 1705 West Continental
Boulevard and cede the property to the adjacent property owner.
5. Discuss right of a way and utility easement encroachment and joint use
agreement with Carroll Independent School District on Lot 1 R, Block 1 R, Carroll
High School.
6. Meeting adjourned.

CITY COUNCIL PRESENT: Mayor John Terrell, and Councilmembers Carolyn Morris,
Pamela A. Muller, Jeff Wang and Al Zito.
CITY COUNCIL ABSENT: Mayor Pro Tem Laura K. Hill and Deputy Mayor Pro Tem
Brandon Bledsoe.
BOARD OF TRUSTEES PRESENT: Board President Erin Shoupp, Board Vice
President Sherri Williams, Board Secretary Craig Rothmeier and Trustees John Thane,
Bernie Ausdenmoore, Read Ballew and Sue Armstrong
BOARD OF TRUSTEES ABSENT: None.

The meeting was called to order by Mayor Terrell at 1:03 p.m.

3. DISCUSS CONVEYANCE OF CISD PROPERTY RELATED TO KIRKWOOD
BOULEVARD EXTENSION.

Mr. Derek Citty, Assistant Superintendent for Administrative Services, presented item to
Council and the Board of Trustees.
A motion was made moved to approve the special warranty deed conveying to the City
of Southlake that property interest listed in the proposed deed, related to the completion
of the Kirkwood extension, and authorize the Board President to execute and deliver the
deed, only after the City of Southlake has delivered to the Board properly approved and
executed documents abandoning the City's easement north of Carroll Elementary
School to the school district and granting the district a 99 -year encroachment
agreement along Peytonville Road west of Carroll Senior High School.

Second: Trustee Ausdenmoore
Ayes: Shoupp, Williams, Rothmeier, Thane, Ausdenmoore, Ballew,
Armstrong
Nays: None
Approved: 7 -0
4. DISCUSS ABANDONMENT OF EXCESS STREET RIGHT OF WAY AT 1705
WEST CONTINENTAL BOULEVARD AND CEDE THE PROPERTY TO THE
ADJACENT PROPERTY OWNER.
Council took action on this item during their April 29, 2011 meeting, which was held in
conjunction with the Carroll Independent School District Board of Trustees joint meeting.
5. DISCUSS RIGHT OF WAY AND UTILITY EASEMENT ENCROACHMENT AND
JOINT USE AGREEMENT WITH CARROLL INDEPENDENT SCHOOL
DISTRICT ON LOT 1R, BLOCK 1R, CARROLL HIGH SCHOOL.
Council took action on this item during their April 29, 2011 meeting, which was held in
conjunction with the Carroll Independent School District Board of Trustees joint meeting.
6. MEETING ADJOURNED
Mayor Terrell adjourned the meeting at 1:10 p.m.
