CITY COUNCIL PRESENT: Mayor Pro Tem Laura K. Hill, Deputy Mayor Pro Tem
Brandon Bledsoe, and Councilmembers Carolyn Morris, Pamela A. Muller, and Jeff
Wang.
CITY COUNCIL ABSENT: Mayor John Terrell and Councilmember Al Zito.
STAFF PRESENT: Assistant City Manager / Director of Public Safety Jim Blagg,
Assistant to the City Manager Alison Ortowski, Communication and Websites Manager
Pilar Schank, Director of Human Resources Stacey Black, and Interim City Secretary

Call to order. The special meeting was called to order by Mayor Pro Tem Hill at 6:01
p.m.
Approve the employment contract for City Secretary. Mayor Pro Tem Hill introduced
this item. Ms. Richardson introduced herself to Council.
Motion was made to approve the contract appointing Alicia Richardson as City
Secretary for the City of Southlake effective February 7, 2011.
