CITY OF SOUTHLAKE, TEXAS 667 NORTH CARROLL AVENUE SPECIAL CITY COUNCIL MEETING OFFICIAL CANVASS MAY 8, 1995 MINUTES COUNCILMEMBERS PRESENT: Mayor Gary Fickes; Mayor Pro Tem Jerry Farrier. Members: Andy Wambsganss and W. Ralph Evans. COUNCILMEMBERS ABSENT: Councilmembers, Stephen Apple, Jon Michael Franks, and Michael Richarme. STAFF PRESENT: Curtis E. Hawk, City Manager; and Sandra L. LeGrand, City Secretary. The Special City Council meeting was called to order at 6:10 p.m., by Mayor Gary Fickes who explained the purpose of the meeting is to canvass the returns and declare the results of the General Election held on May 6, 1995. Agenda Item #2. Resolution No. 95 -10. Canvassing the Returns. Mayor Fickes read Resolution No. 95 -10 into the record, which stated a General Election was held on May 6, 1995 for the purpose of electing Councilmember Places 3,4, and 5, and Judge of Municipal Court. He noted there were 1,667 votes cast during the election in which Pamela Muller was declared elected to Place 3; Sally Hall was declared elected to Place 4; and Ron Maness was declared elected to Place 5. Judge Brad Bradley was elected for another term. The terms will expire in May, 1998. A copy of Resolution No. 95 -10 is attached to the minutes. Motion was made to approve Resolution No. 95 -10, canvassing the returns and declaring the results of the General Election held on May 6, 1995.
