MINUTES
COUNCILMEMBERS PRESENT: Mayor, Gary Fickes; Mayor Pro Tem Rick
Wilhelm; Deputy Mayor Pro Tem Jerry Farrier. Members: Mike
O'Brien, Stephen Apple, Barry Emerson.
COUNCILMEMBER ABSENT: Jon Michael Franks
CITY STAFF PRESENT: Director of Public Safety, Billy Campbell;
Director of Finance, LouAnn Heath, and, Sandra L. LeGrand, City
Secretary.
Mayor Gary Fickes called the meeting to order at 6:00 p.m.,
explaining the purpose of the Special meeting is to Officially
Canvass the May 1, 993, General Election.
Agenda Item #2, Resolution No. 93 -28, Official Canvass Results
Resolution No. 93 -28, Official Canvass for the May 1, 1993, General
Election states there were 1,707 votes cast in the election. The
results of the election are as follows:
Councilmember Place 1, Ralph Evans, for a term to expire
in May, 1996.
Councilmember Place 6, Andrew Wambsganss, for a term to
expire in May, 1996.
Judge of Municipal Court, W.A. Brad Bradley, elected for
a term to expire in May, 1995.
Motion was made to approve Resolution No. 93 -28, as presented as
the Official Canvass of the Election.
Motion: Wilhelm
Second: O'Brien
Ayes: Wilhelm, O'Brien, Emerson, Apple, Farrier, Fickes
Nays: None
Approved: 6 -0 vote
Election Judge, Aloha Payne, was present and reported to
Council that due to the Optic Scan Machine failure, there
was a difference of three (3) votes, in the total votes
cast at the election.
