COUNCILMEMBERS ABSENT: Sally Hall and W. Ralph Evans.
PLANNING AND ZONING COMMISSIONERS PRESENT: Joe Wright, Chairman;
Larry Samartin, Vice - Chairman. Members: Bob Dowdy, Patty McCarty,
Lanny Tate, Stephen Apple.
PLANNING AND ZONING ABSENT: Dennis McGrath.
TASK FORCE MEMBERS PRESENT: Bob Dowdy and Carroll Lee Hamilton.
CITY STAFF PRESENT: Curtis E. Hawk, City Manager; Michael Barnes,
Director of Public Works; Greg Last, City Planner; Eddie Cheatham,
City Engineer; Chris Terry, Assistant to City Manager; and Sandra
L. LeGrand, City Secretary.
The Joint Work Session was called to order at 7:15 p.m. by Mayor
Gary Fickes. The Mayor explained the purpose of the meeting was to
discuss the draft Thoroughfare Plan for the City. The consultant,
Jack Hatchel with Hatchel and Associated, a traffic engineer, made
the presentation. A copy of the information presented is hereby
apart of the minutes.
The meeting was adjourned at 8:20 p.m.
