SPECIAL CITY COUNCIL MEETING
November 15, 1989 7:00 P.M.
PRESENT: Mayor Pro Tem Betty Springer. Members:
Pamela Muller, Rick Wilhelm.
Sally Hall,
ABSENT: Mayor Gary Fickes and Councilmember Ralph Evans.
CITY STAFF PRESENT: Curtis E. Hawk, City Manager; Director of
Public Works, Mike Barnes; Greg Last, City Engineer; Allen Taylor,
City Attorney; and, Sandra L. LeGrand, City Secretary.
The meeting was called to order by Mayor Pro Tem Betty Springer at
7:10 p.m. The invocation was dispensed with.
Agenda Item #2 Discussion: Proposed Ordinance No. 483,
Subdivision Control
The City Attorney, Allen Taylor stated that the City Engineers,
Eddie Cheatham and Greg Last, did a great job putting together the
draft of the subdivision control ordinance. Taylor did go over
some suggested changes that were made by the city attorneys.
Bethann Scratchard, chairman of the Park and Recreation Board,
introduced Steve Bender, a board member who made a presentation in
regards to their proposed amendment to Section F of the subdivision
control ordinance.
Agenda Item #3 Discussion: Proposed Ordinance No. 482, Drainage
This item was not discussed, due to the late hour.
Agenda Item #4 Executive Session
An executive session was not held during this meeting.
