Discussion: Land Purchase. OPEN SESSION: INVOCATION: Mayor Sam Sparger. The Minutes of the May 3, City Council meeting were approved as presented. MAYORS REPORT: Councilperson Latta ask if Council would consider having "City of South- lake" made out of foam letters behind the council table. All agreed it should be looked into. Councilperson Loris is out of town on business, therefore absent from this meeting. Resolution 83-14 was approved, which RESOLUTIC forwarded the Library Fund allocation 83-14 which is presented each year to LIBRARY Southlake from the Tarrant County FUND Latta x x Commissioners Court to the Carroll Bone x x Independent School District. Gary Edwards, representing owners of a 26 acre tract of land located in Southlake's extraterritorial jurisdic- tion, came before Council with a request for water service for the proposed 22 lot subdivision. Mr. Edwards stated the property is off Randol Mill Road. Council strongly requested they consider annexing into Southlake, how- ever, if they do not wish to annex, more information will be needed before Council will make a commitment. ZA 83-15. The zoning change requested ZA 83-l- for a 2.763 acre tract of land out of ZONING the Thomas Mahan Survey, Abstract 1049,CHANGE was considered. Present zoning is Agricultural, request is for the Heavy Commercial Zoning District. The request for Special ZA 83-1- Use Permit for Mini-Warehouses for TABLED the 2.763 acres of land zoned in ZA 8 - 15, was discussed.
