The Minutes of the Special City Council meeting of April 19, were approved as presented, whereas, the Minutes of the April 19, regular City Council Meeting were approved as corrected. MAYORS REPORTS Ordinance No. 160-A, the subdivision ordinance was reviewed when a citizen, F.L. Bailey questioned the need for a survey, when giving a two acre tract of land to his daughter, as a gift of love. Mayor Sparger reminded those present that President Ronald Regan named Thursday, May 5, as a day of prayer and fasting. After discussion, the Councilmembers established a street priority list to be given to the County Commissione as a guide for needed street repair in Southlake. The list includes: 1. East Dove Road 2. South Carroll Avenue 3. West Continental Blvd. 4. North Peytonville Avenue 5. Dove and Lonesome Dove by the bridge. A presentation was made by Mr. Duane Haney, owner of the property, concerning his request for Light Industrial Zoning. The property is currently zoned agricultural. A petition was presented to Mayor Sparger, against the zoning change.
