The applicants, Michael and Kate Douglas are requesting a Variance to Zoning Ord. No. 480, Section14.5.d, as amended, require a rear yard of not less than 35', provided that the lot is fronting on a cul-de-sac. The applicants Michael and Kate, once sworn in, presented testimony, and answered questions from the Board. Chairman Medici asked if there were those in the audience who wished to speak in support of the request. John Skiendzielewski, once sworn in, presented his testimony in support of the request. Chairman Medici asked if there were those in the audience who wished to speak in opposition to the request. There being none, Chairman Medici closed the public hearing and opened the item for discussion from the Board. The applicants, Ken and Pam Ross are seeking approval of a Special Exception Use to reduce the required side yard and rear yard setback for a residential accessory building over 500 square feet in the"SF-1A"zoning district. Because this is a corner lot, the side yard setback adjacent to E Highland St is 40 ft. The property owners are planning to build a 960 square foot detached garage 20 feet from the side yard property line and 26' 4.5"from the rear property line. The applicants Ken, Pam Ross and general contractor Jesus Salcedo once sworn in, presented testimony, and answered questions from the Board. Chairman Medici asked if there were those in the audience who wished to speak in support of the request. There being none, Chairman Medici asked if there were those in the audience who wished to speak in opposition to the request.
