Members Present: Chair MaryLee Alford, Vice Chair Greta Schumacher and SAC members
Bernadette MacDermott, Julie Walter, Emile Keller, and Brent Mcllvain
Commission Members Absent: SAC member William Meddings
Staff Members Present: Deputy Director of Community Services Ryan McGrail, Hospitality and
Sales Manager of Legends Hall at The Marq Southlake Crystal Maddalena
1. CALL TO ORDER
Chair MaryLee Alford called the meeting of the Senior Advisory Commission to order at 1:00 p.m.
2. PUBLIC FORUM
Chair Alford opened Public Forum at 1:00 PM. There being no one to address the Commission,
Public Forum was closed at 1:00 PM.
3. DISCUSSION
3A. 2024 Meeting Dates
Hospitality and Sales Manager of Legends Hall at The Marq Southlake Crystal Maddalena
presented the update and was available to answer questions.
3B. 2024 Objectives
Hospitality and Sales Manager of Legends Hall at The Marq Southlake Crystal Maddalena
and Deputy Director Ryan McGrail presented on duties of the commission based on by-laws and
was available to answer questions.
4. CONSENT
CONSENT AGENDA
Consent Agenda items are considered routine by t he Commission and are enacted with one
motion.
4A. APPROVAL OF THE MINUTES FROM THE December 12, 2023, REGULAR SENIOR
ADVISORY COMMISSION MEETING.
Chair Alford presented the Consent Agenda, including approval of the minutes of the
December 12, 2023, meeting. Chair Alford asked if there were any revisions to the
minutes. No revisions were discussed.

A motion was made to accept the minutes of December 12, 2023, meeting as read.
