Dear Property Owner:
A request for a Special Exception Use has been filed with the Board of Adjustment of the
City of Southlake.
The purpose of the hearing is to consider a request for a Special Exception Use, per Zoning
Ord. No. 480, Section 44.12(6), as amended, for a reduction in the required setback from
the property line for a residential accessory building on property described as Lot 1, Block 1,
Stanhope Addition and located at 1200 Stanhope Ct, Southlake, Tarrant County, Texas.
Current Zoning: “SF-1A” Single Family Residential District
The request is to seek approval to reduce the required 40-foot side yard setback on a corner
lot for a 960 square foot detached garage.
If you wish to register your views on the matter, you may complete and send the enclosed
Notification Response Form to the Planning & Development Services Department. You are
encouraged to follow the requested action through final approval because changes
are often made during the review process.
Please note that this letter and its attachments constitute written notice about the proposed
Special Exception Use.
