Moon Valley creates beautiful and meticulously managed retail 7. ursites, focusing on the sales, growth, and preservation of "big trees". Moon Valley intends to lease or purchase and manage a tract of land in Southlake, TX, maldng material improvements to the current appearance of the site and providing a needed service to its citizens. • Moon Valley intends to join the community and immerse itself in the local aesthetic and service of its members. They aim to achieve this by getting involved in community matters and servicing of the community members agricultural needs. A: S-P-1 is a site plan designation that outlines the uses that are allowed on a property, specifically. Moon Valley Nurseries would work together with the City to formulate a site plan, which the development would adhere to if allowed by the City. C3 zoning is a classification that already exists in Southlake's zoning code. The C3 zoning would accommodate this type of development and business. Q: And SUP? A: For this development, we would need an additional permit to operate within this zoning. Q: Future Land Use designation as Low Family Residential, what does that refer to? A: The Future Land Use Plan is Southlake's vision for future development that serves as a guide for land use decisions. The specific Low Density Residential designation means that this property should be considered as a low intensity site in the future. A: We envision Moon Valley Nursery being a good partner with Southlake and remaining as a commercial business in the area for a long time. Q: What would be the next steps in the process? A: Our development process includes multiple meeting steps. If the applicant chooses to attend, their next step would be to visit Southlake's Corridor Planning Committee which are ad hoc meetings to receive feedback from elected and appointed officials. Following this meeting, and if the applicant chooses to move forward with the development, the next step would be to attend a Planning and Zoning Commission meeting, where a recommendation will be provided to City Council for two final readings. Q: Will those future meetings include the public? A: Yes sir, all meetings are open to the public. Q: Will those meetings be promoted like this one was? A: For Corridor, we typically do not notify but I would be happy to share those meeting details with you if the applicant decides to move forward with that meeting. For Planning and Zoning Commission, if you live within a 300ft boundary of the development property you will be notified through the mail about the next meeting.
